Crows Nest OSD Site B Approved for 15-Storey Mixed-Use Tower

The NSW Government has approved the State Significant Development application for the Crows Nest OSD Site B project, lodged by Thirdiproperty Pty Ltd. The determination allows for a major mixed-use development above the Crows Nest Metro Station at 25 Hume Street, North Sydney, comprising 15 storeys.

The project will deliver 122 residential apartments, including a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom dwellings, as well as ground floor retail and commercial space integrated with the station. The development includes 78 car parking spaces and 156 bicycle spaces across three basement levels.

Approval was granted under the State Significant Development pathway, following review by a design review panel. A Voluntary Planning Agreement has been executed, securing affordable housing (5% of dwellings for 10 years) and public benefits, while removing future contribution liabilities. The site remains zoned MU1 Mixed Use.
