Urban Digest tracks NSW State Significant Development activity for planning and property professionals.

State Significant Developments are among the largest and most consequential projects in the NSW planning system. They shape housing supply, infrastructure delivery, employment land, town centres and investment across the state.

Urban Digest was created to make this activity easier to follow.

Each week, we monitor public planning records and structure key SSD movements into clear, accessible updates — including new projects, public exhibitions, determinations and other status changes. This information is published through Urban Digest Weekly, the Urban Digest Project Tracker and selected project records.

Our aim is to help industry professionals see what is changing across the NSW development pipeline without needing to search multiple portals, project pages and planning documents themselves.

Urban Digest is independent and uses publicly available planning information. We interpret and organise that information to support better visibility, faster research and more informed discussion across the planning and property industry.
