Norwest Mixed-Use Towers Enter Planning Pipeline

Major plans have entered the NSW planning pipeline for a significant mixed-use precinct at 34-46 Brookhollow Avenue, Norwest. Wesco Group and partners are seeking State Significant Development approval for six towers rising up to 37 storeys, combining over 800 apartments with a substantial commercial offering.

The project stands out for its scale and ambition, proposing a shift from the current SP4 Enterprise zoning to E1 Local Centre. This would deliver a major uplift in both floor space and building height, supporting a new urban centre for Norwest. Notably, 10% of the apartments are earmarked for affordable housing, addressing ongoing supply pressures in Sydney’s northwest.

If realised, the $700 million proposal is set to generate 1,000 construction jobs and 1,500 operational roles, boosting local employment. The scheme also includes three basement levels for parking, catering to both residents and commercial tenants.
