53-Unit Mosman Apartment Project Enters EIS Stage

Awaba Street Pty Ltd is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a proposed residential development at 93-101A Awaba Street, Mosman. The State Significant Development would see the demolition of existing dwellings and the construction of an eight-storey apartment building with 53 units.

The proposal includes a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with at least 15% of the dwellings to be provided as affordable housing for a minimum of 15 years. The building is planned over three basement levels, providing 88 car parking spaces, and will feature landscaped setbacks and a communal rooftop terrace.

The project is progressing under the State Significant Development pathway, reflecting its scale and affordable housing component. The proposal is in the ‘Prepare EIS’ stage and will be subject to further public consultation and assessment before determination.
