A $90 million mixed-use apartment proposal in Castle Hill is now on exhibition, with plans for two residential towers at 27-31 Middleton Avenue.
The State Significant Development application proposes part 11 and part 14-storey buildings, with 109 apartments and a 143 square metre ground-floor café tenancy.
The scheme includes three basement levels with 174 car spaces, 109 bicycle spaces, landscaping, loading areas and public domain works.
The proposal includes eight affordable housing apartments, equal to 5% of dwellings. The apartment mix includes one, two, three and four-bedroom dwellings.
The application is linked to proposed amendments to The Hills LEP 2019, seeking to increase the maximum building height control from 26.3 metres to 50 metres and set a maximum FSR of 3.3:1 for the site.
The project is expected to support 200 construction jobs and one operational job.
