Killara In-Fill Affordable Housing Project Enters Exhibition

A State Significant Development application for in-fill affordable housing at 8A, 14 and 16 Buckingham Road, Killara is now on public exhibition. The proposal covers demolition of three existing dwellings and site preparation, including utility upgrades and earthworks.

Plans outline three interconnected residential buildings with a total of 79 apartments, 17 of which are designated as affordable housing. The site is zoned R4 High Density Residential following a previous rezoning process.

Basement levels would provide car and bicycle parking, and the development includes civil infrastructure works. The application is lodged by SLD Building & Construction Pty Ltd.
