The application proposes a mixed-use development at 1-19 Mackenzie Street and 211 Blues Point Road, Lavender Bay, including a 20-storey residential apartment tower, a three-storey residential building, and a five-storey mixed-use building, while retaining the existing heritage listed St Francis Xavier Catholic Church and church forecourt, and providing a potential through site link to North Sydney Station Plaza.

Kurri Kurri Integrated Resource Recovery Centre

Cessnock City

The current application seeks approval to expand the Kurri Kurri Resource Recovery Facility, increasing its waste processing capacity from 90,000 to 450,000 tonnes per annum, allowing on-site storage of up to 40,000 tonnes, extending operating hours to 24/7, and constructing new supporting infrastructure including offices, weighbridges, covered storage, a residual waste recovery plant, and a metals processing area.
