Kingsford Project Seeks Approval for 141 Dwellings

A residential flat building proposal at 118-124A Botany Street and 58-60 Wallace Street, Kingsford, is now on exhibition as a State Significant Development. The application seeks approval for an eight-storey building containing 141 dwellings.

The scheme includes approximately 18% affordable housing, with 15% of the gross floor area to be managed by a community housing provider for at least 15 years. This is in addition to the 3% affordable housing contribution required under the Randwick LEP.

The proposal utilises the Housing SEPP’s infill affordable housing provisions, allowing an FSR of 2.86:1 and a maximum building height of 28.6 metres. The site area is 3,939.95 square metres.

Plans indicate two basement levels and provision for 102 car spaces. The project team includes Antipodean Building Group as applicant, Studio Johnston, and Beam Planning.
