$104m Ramsgate Beach Mixed-Use Proposal on Exhibition

A $104 million mixed-use development at 277 The Grand Parade, Ramsgate Beach, is now on exhibition, proposing an eight-storey building with three basement levels. The State Significant Development application includes a ground floor supermarket, a separate retail tenancy, and seven residential floors above.

The proposal seeks approval for 70 apartments, with 15 designated as affordable housing. The affordable housing component represents 1,832.8 sqm, or 15.7% of the total 11,646 sqm GFA. Non-residential uses account for 3,450 sqm of GFA.

This application amends a previous approval by adding two residential storeys and 20 additional apartments, along with minor changes to floor levels and building design. The proposed maximum building height is 31.19 metres.

The project is expected to generate between 200 and 300 construction and operational jobs. Assessment is via the State Significant Development pathway.
