A $366 million warehouse and logistics development at 1953-2109 Elizabeth Drive, Badgerys Creek has been approved, with consent granted for Stage 1 works and three warehouse buildings up to 14.6 metres in height.
The Burrah Park concept proposal covers a 171.8 hectare site and includes bulk earthworks, new estate roads, a signalised intersection on Elizabeth Drive, stormwater infrastructure, utilities and subdivision. Stage 1 approval allows for 85,846 square metres of gross floor area across three warehouses, supported by 400 car spaces.
The broader concept outlines a future industrial estate with up to 32 building envelopes and a total GFA of around 631,800 square metres for warehousing, commercial and light industrial uses. The proposal anticipates a future SEPP amendment to rezone areas currently zoned Environment and Recreation, where some warehousing and commercial uses are not presently permitted.
The application was subject to three State Design Review Panel sessions prior to lodgement. The project was exhibited for 28 days in late 2024 and received three public submissions.
