$130m North Sydney Mixed-Use Tower Enters Exhibition

A $130 million State Significant Development proposal for a 37-storey mixed-use building at 271-273 Alfred Street, North Sydney, has entered public exhibition.

The application seeks approval for demolition of the existing structure and construction of a tower with commercial uses on the first two levels and 100 apartments above. Of the proposed dwellings, 21 would be delivered as affordable housing, representing 15% of the total residential component.

The project identifies a gross floor area of 12,500 square metres on a 1,040 square metre site, with a proposed floor space ratio of 12:1.

The application is being assessed as State Significant Development, with Tara Shore Pty Ltd ATF John Taylor Family Trust as the applicant.
