53-Dwelling Housing Proposal for Mona Vale

A $75 million in-fill affordable housing proposal in Mona Vale is now on exhibition, seeking approval for an eight-storey residential flat building on a 2,679 sqm site. The State Significant Development application covers 35-39 Darley Street East in the Northern Beaches.

The project proposes 53 apartments, with 17% (nine dwellings) designated as affordable housing to be managed by a registered community housing provider for 15 years. The scheme includes a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom units.

The proposed building would have a gross floor area of 7,659 sqm and a floor space ratio of 2.86:1. Three basement levels are planned, providing 124 car spaces for residents.

The application is currently on public exhibition until 3 August. No planning control variations or rezoning requests are identified in the submission.
