A State Significant Development application for two warehouse and distribution centres in Campbelltown is now on exhibition, proposing 72,840 sqm of gross floor area across a 16.9-hectare site.
The Glenfield Industrial Precinct – Precinct 1 project seeks approval for construction and 24/7 operation of both warehouses, including ancillary office space and a café. The proposal also covers site preparation, landscaping, infrastructure, and subdivision works.
Plans include 336 car parking spaces, with provision for future bicycle parking if demand arises. Three internal access roads would connect the site to a new intersection on Cambridge Avenue.
Precinct 1 is already zoned E4 General Industrial following a 2012 rezoning and is not reliant on the outcome of the 2024 Planning Proposal. No residential or affordable housing is included in this application.
