Approval Granted for Regents Park In-Fill Affordable Housing

Stage 3 of the Regents Park In-Fill Affordable Housing project has been approved as a State Significant Development. This stage covers the construction of Building C, ranging from 8 to 12 storeys, along with a central open public space on the site at 30-46 Auburn Road.

Approval allows for 142 apartments, with 25% designated as affordable housing. The project includes three basement levels for parking, storage, and waste facilities, as well as landscaping for the central open space.

The application was assessed under the Planning Systems SEPP 2021, with input from the State Design Review Panel during the concept phase. The Department publicly exhibited the plans in December 2025, receiving both support and objections.
