Landcom Approved for 130 Affordable Homes in Campbelltown
April 30, 2026
Landcom has secured approval for a major affordable housing project in Campbelltown, with the NSW Government giving the green light to 130 new dwellings across two buildings. The development will rise between three and nine storeys, taking advantage of a 30% height bonus under the Housing SEPP to reach up to 36.3 metres.
All apartments will be affordable for at least 15 years, providing a significant boost to local housing supply. The project features a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units, with landscaped communal spaces and basement parking included. Notably, the scheme sits on a 4,895 sqm site and will deliver over 10,000 sqm of gross floor area.
Despite challenges such as bushfire, flood, and site contamination constraints, the proposal advanced through the State Significant Development pathway. The Macarthur Gardens North Planning Agreement will see Landcom contribute financially, dedicate land, and deliver works as part of the approval.
