A $60 million mixed-use housing development at 28 Cordeaux Street, Campbelltown, is now on exhibition as a State Significant Development application.
The proposal includes 140 dwellings, including 20 affordable homes representing 15% of the development, across a gross floor area of 12,988 square metres on a 4,306 square metre site.
The development is proposed as a 14-storey shop-top housing building with ground-floor commercial uses and basement parking. The site is located within Campbelltown City Centre, close to Campbelltown Station and surrounding services.
The project progressed through the Housing Delivery Authority process after an expression of interest was submitted in 2025. The HDA subsequently recommended that the proposal be declared State Significant Development, with the Minister making the declaration in August 2025.

The affordable housing component is supported by the Housing SEPP provisions, which provide additional development incentives where affordable housing is included. The EIS also identifies a registered community housing provider as being involved in the delivery and management of the affordable housing component.
The project is expected to support around 100 construction jobs and 10 operational jobs.
