$75.8m Chester Hill Seniors Housing Redevelopment Approved

A $75.8 million seniors housing redevelopment in Chester Hill has been approved, clearing the way for the staged expansion of Abel Tasman Village at 222 Waldron Road and 138–140 Campbell Hill Road.

The State Significant Development approval covers a concept plan for four buildings up to 8 storeys, with Stage 1 to deliver three buildings ranging from 4 to 8 storeys.

Stage 1 includes 120 residential care beds and 64 independent living units, along with ancillary services and a basement providing 94 car spaces. The approved scheme covers a 12,730 sqm site and a total gross floor area of 18,990 sqm.

The concept approval allows for a future total of 136 basement car spaces. The application identified 180 construction jobs and 78 operational roles.

The Abel Tasman Village Association Limited is the applicant. The project was determined on 13 August 2026.
