A $402.2 million mixed-use tower proposal in Macquarie Park is listed on exhibition, with plans for two 44-storey towers at 2-4 Giffnock Avenue.

The State Significant Development application, known as TOD Key Site 6, would deliver 741 dwellings, including 42 affordable housing units to be provided in perpetuity. The scheme also includes retail premises, a childcare centre for up to 112 children, and a public recreation area.

The proposal has a total gross floor area of 72,636 square metres across a 12,386 square metre site. Tower A would reach 147.5 metres, while Tower B would reach 152.9 metres.

The application includes six basement parking levels, 728 car spaces, 85 bicycle spaces, landscaping, subdivision, streetscape upgrades and land dedication for road infrastructure and open space.

The site has recently been rezoned MU1 Mixed Use and E2 Commercial Core. The application has attracted five submissions, including one objection, one submission of support and three comments.
